Owned and operated by Jack Thornton, Smarter Pets continues to offer the full range of dog and cat grooming services that made Jacks Grooming a popular choice. Dogs and cats visiting a groomer for the first time are welcome and Jack also offers advice on how to keep your pet’s coat in check in between visits. Pets nails are clipped for free.
Services range from a simple comb through to trims and clips and baths. The new premises is fully equipped with modern equipment and at no time is your pet left unattended. All breeds of dogs and cats are catered for – both large and small. Prices are confirmed at the time of booking unless a coat needs quite a bit of remedial work in which cases a price is still agreed upfront once Jack has seen the coat.
Jack works in a quiet and gentle manner making him a popular choice for both dogs and cats. Speaking today after opening his doors as Smarter Pets By Jacks Grooming, Jack said, “The new salon gives me room to expand and will still be convenient for my clients dropping off their pets. Here we have both an upstairs and downstairs making it easier to separate cat and dogs in the shop with their own designated area. Everything else remains unchanged. I am still using the latest equipment and offering a personal service to all clients. Many of the dogs and cats who come to me are like old friends – I have been grooming them for years. I am looking forward to this new chapter’.
